What Ashford Group does, and for whom
Ashford Group is a search engine optimisation consultancy specialising in technical SEO, keyword architecture, content performance, and editorial link acquisition. We work with small and mid-sized businesses operating in competitive Romanian and EU digital markets — typically e-commerce operations, professional services firms, SaaS companies, and regional media publishers whose organic search channel is a material source of revenue or lead generation. Our clients are based across Romania — including Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Iași, and our home city of Craiova — as well as in neighbouring markets in the EU. We do not work with clients whose primary need is social media management, paid search, or above-the-line advertising; those disciplines require a different set of tools and a different kind of team. Our focus on search, and only search, means that every hour of our team's time compounds directly into your organic visibility.
How we work — and what we do not promise
Since founding in 2017, the Ashford Group team has completed over 140 SEO engagements across 14 industry verticals. Every project begins with a measurement baseline: we do not accept clients whose analytics and Search Console access are not properly configured, because without clean data there is no honest way to report progress. Our process is structured around four-week reporting cycles. At the end of each cycle, you receive a ranked list of what moved, by how much, and what drove the change — cross-referenced against the action items from the previous sprint. We are direct about what SEO cannot do: it does not produce results in days, it cannot override a fundamentally broken product or an uncompetitive pricing model, and ranking positions are always influenced by algorithm updates that no agency can predict or prevent. What we can control is the quality of the analysis, the precision of the implementation briefs, and the transparency of the reporting. Those three things we hold ourselves accountable for on every engagement. The slate-professional rigour that defines our internal standards is visible in every client deliverable we produce.
